How to Verify SHA-256 on Windows

  1. Open PowerShell (press Win + X, select Windows PowerShell or Terminal).
  2. Run the following command, replacing the path with the actual location of your downloaded file:

Installation

    Run the Installer

    Right-click the .exe and choose Run as administrator. If Windows SmartScreen appears, click More info → Run anyway only if you have verified the hash.

    Choose Install Location

    Default is C:\Program Files\Wave Executor\. You can change it to any folder with at least 200 MB of free space.

  4. 4

    Complete Setup

    Finish the wizard. A desktop shortcut will be created. Launch Wave Executor and follow the on-screen setup.

Update Process

Wave Executor updates are released periodically to maintain compatibility with current Roblox client builds. We publish every release in our changelog with the corresponding SHA-256 hash.

Automatic Update

If you enabled the update checker during installation, Wave Executor will notify you when a new version is available. Click the notification and follow the prompts.

Manual Update

Download the latest installer from this page, verify the SHA-256, and run it. The installer will detect the existing installation and upgrade in place.

Why is the file so large?

The installer includes the main executable, configuration files, theme assets, and offline documentation. The .NET dependencies add most of the size.

Can I install on multiple PCs?

Yes. The installer is not license-locked. You can install Wave Executor on as many Windows 10/11 machines as you like.

How do I uninstall it?

Open Windows Settings → Apps → Installed apps → Wave Executor → Uninstall. Or run the uninstaller from the installation folder.
