Known Incompatibilities

The following software and configurations are known to interfere with Wave Executor:

Hyper-V and Core Isolation

Windows Core Isolation (Memory Integrity) blocks the injection mechanism Wave Executor uses. If attachment fails consistently, check Settings → Privacy & Security → Windows Security → Device Security → Core Isolation.

Vanguard and Kernel Anticheats

Kernel-level anti-cheats such as Riot Vanguard may block injection even in unrelated processes. If Vanguard is running, Wave Executor may fail to attach.

Windows Sandbox and VMs

Windows Sandbox and most virtual machines do not support the injection method Wave uses. Running Wave inside a VM is not supported.

Some Antivirus Suites

Kaspersky, BitDefender, and ESET can block the injection even when the executable itself is not flagged. Exclusions may be required.

Microsoft Store Roblox

The UWP version of Roblox from the Microsoft Store cannot be attached. Only the official desktop client from roblox.com works.

Windows on ARM

Wave Executor is x64 only. Running it via x64 emulation on ARM devices does not work due to differences in process memory layout.

Support Status

Configuration Support Level
Windows 11 + latest Roblox + latest Wave Priority support
Windows 10 22H2 + latest Roblox + latest Wave Priority support
Older Windows 10 builds + latest Wave Best effort
Any configuration with deprecated Wave version Upgrade recommended
ARM, VM, Sandbox, 32-bit Windows Not supported

Compatibility FAQ

My Roblox updated and Wave stopped working

This is expected. Roblox client updates periodically break executor attachment methods. Wait for a new Wave release, or check the changelog for compatibility notes.

Does Wave work with Bloxstrap or other Roblox launchers?

Bloxstrap and similar launchers use the official Roblox client, so attachment generally works. Custom Roblox builds are not supported.

Will Wave work if I have Core Isolation enabled?

No. Core Isolation blocks the memory access pattern Wave relies on. You would need to disable it — but only if you understand the security trade-off. We do not recommend disabling OS security features.

Is there a Mac or Linux version?

No. Wave Executor is Windows-only. Mac users would need to run Windows in a virtual machine, which is not supported.

Can I use older versions?

Older versions are archived on the download page for reference, but they will not attach to current Roblox clients. Always use the latest Wave release.
